Therapeutic Support

Therapeutic support is designed to help your child feel more secure, confident, and emotionally regulated, and to support you as a parent or caregiver in responding effectively.

We aim to create a space where children and young people are seen and supported, and where parents and carers feel empowered and hopeful. Whatever you and your child is facing, we’ll work together to find a way forward - one that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in what matters most to your family.

We offer sessions in schools and home settings, within Leicester City and Leicestershire. We also offer online therapy.

What you can expect

As HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologists and Chartered Child and Educational Psychologists, we offer professional, skilled therapeutic support tailored to the needs of children, young people, and families. Therapeutic input may involve:

  • Individual sessions with a child or young person.

  • Parent and carer sessions to reflect, build strategies, or strengthen relationships.

  • Joint sessions with parent/carer and child or young person (especially in Theraplay and DDP-informed work).

  • Collaborative planning and liaison with schools (where helpful and agreed).
